Comments:
I started flying in 1974 in the Boston area and quickly fell in with the Sky Sports crowd and flew regularly with Terry Sweeney and Tom Peghiny (also Stu Smith). I flew hang gliders regularly 'til the mid to late 80's when sailplanes took up most of my attention. I still see Tom P. once in a while and see Terry regularly since he is also in my sailplane club (Greater Boston Soaring Club http://www.soargbsc.org). I currently own an LS6-b sailplane and am an instructor for GBSC. I still keep my USHGA membership active since I simply can't get hang gliding out of my system - and probably never will.
