Comments: In 1987 during a camping trip to the North Carolina Outer Banks, I discovered Hang gliding at the Hang Gliding Spectacular and videoed the event. Watching the footage gave me the fever to attend the event every year since. After achieving Hang I in 1994 I  started competing and look forward to Spectacular each year.
