31st Annual Hang Gliding Spectacular
and Kitty Hawk Air Games

Kitty Hawk Kites is proud to present the 31st Annual Hang Gliding Spectacular and Kitty Hawk Air Games. The games return to the Outer Banks May 16th to the 19th, 2003. The games are located at Jockey's Ridge State Park in Nags Head and the Currituck County airport in Maple, located halfway between Virginia Beach and Kitty Hawk.

The Hang Gliding Spectacular is the world's oldest continuous hang
gliding competition. The annual Hang Gliding Spectacular is attended by the most accomplished and exciting pilots in the world. The pilots are flying just down the street from where the Wright Brothers first flew almost 100 years ago.

The Kitty Hawk Air Games, a recent addition to the Spectacular features demonstrations of virtually every possible form of slow flight aircraft. Included along with hang gliders will be ultra lights, paragliders, parachutes, kite surfing, and more. Hang glider pilots and recreational flyers a like will be soaring above the Outer Banks for four days of competition and demonstrations.

We are proud to bring this event to the Outer Banks. This exciting
event is a highly visible attraction for tourists and locals alike.

Package 1 - $75
For $75, your logo will be included in all the contest print materials for the competitors and the spectators. This includes contest flyers and posters. You will be listed in the event program and your logo will be included on the event T-shirt. Plus you will receive at least 3 PA announcements at the event.

Package 2 - $125
For $125, you will receive all of the great advantages of a level 1 contributor and you will receive a 2 additional announcements on the PA at all the events of the four day competition. You will also have the ability to hang your banner at the street dance and the airport competition. You will be included as a hang gliding week contributor which will be celebrated all over the Outer Banks and on the Internet.
( We will be promoting Hang Gliding week through the Chamber, Visitors Centers, Schools, libraries, as well as participating sponsor locations).

Package 3 - $200
For $200, you'll receive all of the benefits listed in first and second contribution packages and you will have your logo included on all the banners and signs. You will also have your very own event at the competition. It will be your company bomb drop, or Aerotow, etc. You will also be involved in all of our school and library shows as the place to go. You will then have the right to hang the art work of all of the winners of our school art challenge. This will promote your business to the guests of the Spectacular and the local families whose children are in the schools. Plus you will have a large presence on the Internet with the sponsors and the art form the promotion of Hang Gliding Week.
